WDSRA grateful to Wheaton chamber

I wanted to express my gratitude to the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Women in Business. In October they held a fashion show luncheon with proceeds from the raffle donated to charity. Western DuPage Special Recreation Association was one of two charities selected.

This is a great example how a community comes together to support its residents. The event was organized by Wheaton Chamber members, donations came from local businesses and the event was attended by community members to help local non-profits.

What makes a community great is how it can pull together to support each other.

We applaud the Women in Business for reaching out to local non profits to help their neighbors.
