Detweiler bombs away for Grayslake N.
Kendall Detweiler hit a school-record seven 3-pointers, leading Grayslake North’s girls basketball team to a 57-41 win over host Jacobs in a Fox Valley Conference crossover Friday night.
Detweiler finished with 27 points, 1 shy of her season and career best. Joanna Guhl added 8 points and 10 rebounds, and Brooke Sauer also scored 8 points.
Grayslake North coach Jim Sarver said his Knights (3-3) played “outstanding defense.” Jordyn Bowen and Detweiler had 4 and 3 steals, respectively.
