We need reminders of heroin monster

Let me write to find out what I am thinking. I find I am thinking about the astute viewpoint Nov. 21 article discussing the heroin plague closer than we knew, with horrific consequences. Imagine, the most mean jagged-fanged monster you can. See it lurking and advancing toward those you love. We would slay it would we not? The monster is heroin. The monster is death. Death the absence of all senses, all memories. No more Thanksgivings, no more Christmas mornings. This death is often preceded by the humiliation of jail and miserable addictions.
