Naperville Domino's Pizza robbed Wednesday
Naperville police are searching for two men who robbed a Domino's Pizza on the 2000 block of Washington Street late Wednesday, authorities said.
Police said the two masked men entered the Domino's at about 11:30 p.m., pointed handguns at store employees, and demanded money.
After grabbing the cash from the register, the men fled the store on foot, officials said.
The first suspect, a white male, stands approximately 6-feet tall and was wearing a dark-colored canvas coat and work boots. Height, weight and clothing of the second offender — a black male — was not released by authorities.
This is the second time in less than a week that a Domino's Pizza was robbed at gunpoint in the area.
St. Charles police are still looking for information behind an armed robbery that took place late Friday night at a Domino's on the 1400 block of W. Main Street, officials said.
In that robbery, two men wearing ski masks entered the restaurant at about 1 a.m., pointed guns at the employees and forced them to lay face down on the ground. The employees were duct-taped and locked in an office while the thieves stole cash from the register and safe.
Police could not say if the two cases are linked. No one was injured in either robbery.
Anyone with information in either robbery are urged to contact their local police departments, or to call Crime Stoppers at (630) 420-6006. All callers to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous, and people could receive a reward of up to $1,000 for any information that leads to an arrest in any case.
