Enhancements made to Wisconsin jobs site
MADISON, Wis. — The state of Wisconsin's jobs site has been bolstered to capture tens of thousands of additional jobs posted on other employment sites.
The Job Center of Wisconsin website had about 31,000 job openings posted on it as of late Wednesday with more than 104,000 openings from other sites listed as well.
The site also has added Twitter and Facebook feeds. Department Secretary Reggie Newson says the use of social media greatly expands the tools available to help job seekers and employers.
The website was started in 2008. Gov. Scott Walker frequently encourages job seekers to use the site to look for work opportunities.
