D50 Virtual Backpack:
Woodland Elemenetary District 50 has announced the launch of a Virtual Backpack this fall in an effort to post nonemergency communications on its website, www.dist50.net, found under the “Resources” header. Virtual Backpack launched Nov. 21. It includes such communications as fliers from local organizations, school newsletters, school news (concerts, events, intramurals), information from PTA, lunch menus and select news releases. Emergency communications will continue to be sent home. Families who do not wish to sign up for Virtual Backpack will continue to receive paper communications, including emergency communications, from the district.
