Chalk Kelly’s fall up to politics

I read the Nov. 17 story about Bartlett’s Mayor Michael Kelly with utter disappointment. I know from past newspaper articles that there are obviously those who are out to tarnish Michael’s reputation.

Anyone who knows him well knows that Michael Kelly is honest, intelligent, thoughtful and generous. Is he forgetful? Perhaps. Is he too trusting? Perhaps. But set the record straight — Mike Kelly is one of the nicest guys around. It’s too bad that politics and pettiness have done their damage.
