Director to return to Wis. for tourism ad
MADISON, Wis. — State tourism officials say director David Zucker is slated to return to Wisconsin to helm a commercial.
The state Tourism Department spokeswoman Lisa Marshall says Zucker will direct and edit a commercial depicting winter activities in the state. The spot will be filmed Dec. 15 and begin airing in Chicago, Minneapolis and Milwaukee the week of Jan. 9.
Zucker says in a statement the Tourism Department issued Tuesday that he hopes the commercial is the beginning for more projects in Wisconsin.
Zucker graduated from Shorewood High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He went on to direct a number of comedies, including “Airplane!” and “The Naked Gun.”
