Police seek suspects in Arlington Heights robbery

Arlington Heights police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating three men who robbed a woman of her phone, purse and other belongings outside her residence early Sunday morning.

Police said the woman was talking on her phone while walking through her apartment complex’s parking lot in the 700 block of East Algonquin Road at about 1:40 a.m. when the men approached.

One offender grabbed the woman’s Apple iPhone 3, valued at $300, and a second grabbed her purse, which contained a brown Gucci wallet, $20 cash and other items, police said. The woman resisted and was pushed to the ground, and the suspects then fled east through the parking lot, toward Algonquin Road, according to police.

The suspects were described as three Hispanic men in their 20s, with average heights, police said. Two wore dark hooded sweatshirts and the third wore an orange hooded sweatshirt.
