Elderly pedestrian killed in Monona, Wisconsin

MONONA, Wis. — Police say an elderly man has died of injuries suffered when he was hit by a vehicle while walking in Monona.

Authorities say the man was hit about 6 p.m. Saturday by a vehicle traveling south on Monona Dr. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died later.

Police tell WISC-TV no charges are pending against the driver of the vehicle that hit the man.
