The skinny: The Illini beat Richmond and Illinois State earlier this week to win the Cancun Challenge. PG Sam Maniscalco, a Bradley transfer, averaged 17 points and shot 52 percent from the field in the two games, while 7-1 C Meyers Leonard (12.6 ppg) continues to show improvement. Chicago State, which lost to Southern Illinois 73-57 on Friday, is led by 6-9 junior Jeremy Robinson (16.2 ppg).

DePaul (3-1) vs. Arizona State (2-3)

When: 1 p.m. at HP Field House, Orlando, Fla.

TV: ESPNU

The skinny: After a tough 1-point loss to Minnesota, DePaul bounced back to beat Texas Tech 76-70 on Friday at the Old Spice Classic. Forward Cleveland Melvin scored 25 points and guard Brandon Young added 24. Now the Blue Demons advance to face Arizona State for the consolation championship. The Sun Devils, led by 6-4 junior Trent Lockett (17.2 ppg), lost to Fairfield and beat Wake Forest to reach this game.
