The skinny: Junior guard Drew Crawford was named Big Ten player of the week and tournament MVP after averaging 24 points and shooting 57.4 percent from the field at the Charleston (S.C.) Classic. Crawford scored 27 in the championship-game win over Seton Hall. Forward John Shurna is the Wildcats’ top scorer at 21.5 ppg. Stony Brook, which has no players averaging in double figures, has collected its wins over Mount Ida and Columbia.
