Romney not the man to face Obama

Anyone who is following presidential politics in this crucial election cycle realizes who the mainstream liberal media would prefer to run against their hero, President Barack Obama.

All of the leading Republican candidates except one have faced blistering media attacks. We have seen unflattering pictures of candidates, unfounded rumors and innuendos, “senior moments” highlighted, and intense criticism of candidates’ ideas to revitalize the American economy.

The liberal dominated media would love to see the Republicans nominate someone with the authenticity and charisma of a used-car salesman. The man who fits this bill is no other than former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who will take any position to suit his political ambition. It was his health care program that was the model for the monstrosity we know as Obamacare, which fundamentally transforms health care as we know it.

The greatest chance that the Republicans have to retake the White House next year is to select the candidate who provides the greatest contrast to the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. The American people do not need the election choice that the media is trying to foist upon us: Obama vs. Obama-lite.
