Palatine Historical Society hosts holiday open house

The Palatine Historical Society will host a holiday open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Clayson House Museum, 224 E. Palatine Road, Palatine.

The event, “A Civil War Christmas,” will feature costumes, decorations, music and refreshments. The society’s Victorian dollhouse also will be decorated.
