Indiana man gets 315 years in child porn case
INDIANAPOLIS — A judge has sentenced an Indiana man to 315 years in federal prison for producing and distributing worldwide pornographic images of children under the age of 4 in a case described as one of the largest of its kind in state history.
U.S. District Court Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson sentenced 25-year-old David Bostic of Bloomington on Tuesday. Bostic has been held for a year and pleaded guilty to 65 criminal counts in June.
Authorities have said Bostic produced sexually explicit images of a 4-year-old boy and four girls between the ages of 2 months and 3 years.
Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer says “no prison term can undo the pain and suffering” that Bostic caused, but the sentence “sends a strong message that child sexual exploitation will be punished severely.”
