Penn State one win away from Big Ten title game

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — No. 20 Penn State finds itself in a remarkable position after all the anger, tears and upheaval in Happy Valley over the last two weeks.

Beat Wisconsin on Saturday and the Nittany Lions (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten) secure the Leaders Division title and a berth in the inaugural conference championship game.

Interim coach Tom Bradley said he’s kept an open-door policy and tried to be as transparent as possible with his players. The longtime defensive coordinator took over for Joe Paterno after the Hall of Famer was fired in the aftermath of child sex abuse charges against former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.

Receiver Derek Moye said he’s trying to ignore the questions he gets about the situation. Safety Drew Astorino said he’s leaned on his family for support.
