Aurora University hosts free business workshop

Aurora University is hosting a business workshop titled “Establishing a Customer-Focused Environment.” The free event takes pace Nov. 30 at Aurora University.

Andrew Meeks, managing partner at Oak Consulting, will speak at 8 a.m. in University Banquet Hall at Alumni Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Place. Networking and refreshments are at 7:30 a.m.

“In today’s less-than-perfect economy, the importance of the customer cannot be understated,” Meeks said. “The question is not why companies should be customer-focused, but how to do so effectively.”

Meeks will discuss proven strategies that have been successfully implemented across multiple manufacturing and service industries.
