Crime Stoppers Reward Offered in Credit Union Robbery

On November 19, 2011 at approximately 11:40 a.m., Naperville Police Department patrol units responded to the Illiana Financial Credit Union, 1163 E. Ogden Avenue #711 for the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that the below described suspect displayed a handgun to a teller and robbed the credit union of an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a male subject (unknown race), approximately 6'00” tall, average build, wearing a (Caucasian) flesh toned Halloween mask, a plaid shirt, and brown construction boots.

The suspect was last seen fleeing, on foot, northbound from the credit union.

Due to the nature of the incident, agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Naperville police investigators, and a K-9 unit from the DuPage County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. The investigation is being conducted jointly between the Naperville Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
