Deer culling makes no sense

Kill me — I might be sick.

Luckily, I am not a Kane County deer.

Would someone please tell me why a temporarily paralyzing dart cannot be used for testing for chronic wasting disease? Just recently, you may recall that the state killed more than 75 deer and did not find any that were diseased.
