Tea Party coverage was disappointing

In response to the article by your editor Mr. Davis: The Tea Party evolved into a serious movement due to the direction our government was/is heading. Those involved (from every corner of this nation) have a heartfelt desire to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States; to uphold and protect our God-given rights as directed by our Founding Fathers; and to stand and protect our freedoms, our liberty, and our way of life. Any American can call themselves Tea Partiers, whether they physically participate in a rally or never intend to.

Reading your article (“tea party will now be addressed as Tea Party”) prompted me to write to let you know I would have liked to see more respectful Tea Party news when rallies were first held in Crystal Lake. There was a deliberate bias by your news people who reported only half the number of people at these events.

The Herald downplayed these gatherings and it was disappointing to read, as the numbers of people attending was very impressive.
