Cubs decisions were all wrong

I’m very disappointed in the recent decisions made by the Cubs. Mr. Ricketts, upon purchasing the Cubs you should have known that if you wanted to overhaul the organization, you should have done it at that time. So many of the players were overpaid and nonproducers. Zambrano was one and should have been dismissed after all his actions that past several years. Rather than go around talking to all the fans this past summer, you should have evaluated and looked at the real problems.

Mike Quade was handed a mess. He handled the job with poise and never made excuses. Anyone with baseball knowledge could see what he was up against. You can’t evaluate a manager in one year. I have never heard of a manager or coach at any level being fired after one year. It is impossible to make an educated decision.

I would also draw attention to Barry Rozner. He sits behind his microphone and poison pen and did everything he could to destroy Mike Quade. It is unfathomable to believe he is allowed to do this.
