Music notes: Dead fans can go Furthur at Allstate
Life after The Dead
Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, veterans of the iconic rock band The Grateful Dead, created a new group in 2009, Furthur. Furthur delivers classic Dead songs along with original material. Catch them in the suburbs this weekend.

Get ‘Naked'
Naked Raygun, the Chicago post-punk band led by Naperville native Jeff Pezzati, will perform on the night before Thanksgiving at the venerable Metro rock club in the city. Naked Raygun was a key player in the small-but-vital Chicago music scene of the early 1980s, and the band's music — an arty mix of punk energy and pop melody — has been cited as an influence by numerous alt-rock groups that followed.
9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Metro, 3730 N. Clark St., Chicago. $23. Go to metrochicago.com.

• “The Smiths Complete” (Rhino), The Smiths: The '80s British pop group is memorialized with a set that includes all eight Smiths albums. ($61.46)
• “Some Girls” (Hip-O), The Rolling Stones: Considered by many critics to be the last great Stones record, 1978's “Some Girls” is back in a lavish remastered reissue. Available Nov. 21. ($143.44)
