Scouting report: Five Trojans played on the school's volleyball sectional champions, so expect a slow start as they get their basketball legs. Once up to speed, there is potential. It starts with three-year starter Block, a fourth-team all-state selection who averaged 12 points and 8 rebounds and brings high character and AAU experience. DeKoekkoek hopes Bosman can bump up her numbers of 7-8 points a game from a year ago. He also looks for direction out of Stein and LeGrand, two girls battling for time at point guard. Seven seniors provide leadership. "The defining thing is we have a lot of role players," DeKoekkoek said, "but what role player can step up into a bigger role?"
