Top players: Kaleigh Dempsey, sr., G; Megan Sutton, sr., G; Kellyanne Remy, sr., F; Jennifer Clementi, sr., F; Brittney Reaber, jr., G; Grace Vitek, so., G; Rory Manion, so., G; Abby Radoha, so., G.
Scouting report: Lawrence feels the foundation was built, particularly defensively, in her first year. She sees a more comfortable and confident group. Four seniors return with significant experience. Remy, who averaged 4.7 points and 4.8 rebounds and scored a season-best 21 points in the regional loss, hopes to pick up where she left off and shot well over the summer. Speed is the greatest asset of Dempsey, whose 7.9 points a game was second to graduated guard Allie DiVito. Lawrence said Clementi is playing with more confidence and works the high-low game well with Manion. Sutton is perhaps IC's most improved defender. Reaber, brought up midway through last year, has good genes sisters Taylor and Kasey were both All-Area talents. "We hammered the basics last year," Lawrence said. "Now we're able to put in extra things and they're having fun with it."
