Sticky Mobile picks Rich Interacative’s r-Glue technology

NAPERVILLE — Sticky-Mobile, a practical and easy-to-use tool for deploying QR codes across marketing touch points without requiring any programming skills, is using Rich Interactives’ proprietary r-Glue technology in its product.

Free to webmasters and developers, r-Glue technology improves the use of QR codes by allowing consumers to easily bookmark, store or share digital content, such as a website, so that it can be viewed on the go, or at a time of their convenience.

“Previously it has been difficult for marketers to know where to put an HTML tag without the help of a web specialist. Sticky-Mobile, equipped with r-Glue technology, makes it easier for anyone who wants to add QR codes to their website, to interact with consumers on the go,” said Rich Interactive CEO Roger Carr.

Unlike a standard UPC bar code, a QR code is a unique matrix bar code that lets customers instantly learn more about a business using a smartphone. By scanning the QR code on a business card, the smartphone will instantly show or link to additional details, such as a website, email or map.

“The QR revolution means that consumers equipped with a smartphone can scan a QR code directly from a magazine, billboard or business card. As more businesses look to leverage the power of mobile advertising, our goal is to provide effective tools such as rGlue technology to drive higher levels of customer engagement and return on investment,” Carr said.
