Friendship Tree-Lighting in Hoffman Estates Nov. 19

The Village of Hoffman Estates’ annual Friendship Tree-Lighting Ceremony will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, at 4:30 p.m. at the main entrance of Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road.

Santa will arrive on a Hoffman Estates fire engine and entertainment will be provided by The Notables, a local singing group. There also will be light refreshments and fireworks.

Guests are asked to donate canned goods or toiletry items at the free event to help replenish area food pantries. For more information call (847) 781-2606.
