Accomplishments of Obama are many

The GOP of Loudine County in Virginia sent out a Halloween email mesages that depicted President Obama as a zombie with a bullet hole in his head. This is just too much. The party of no has such hatred for our president that this should not be a surprise to the rest of the sane world.

The GOP continues to issue statements that have no basis in fact such as, “President Obama has done nothing during his time in office.” Maybe it is time to list a few of the president’s accomplishments of the past three years. The president:

Ÿ Is on track to withdraw all troops from Iraq by the end of the year

Ÿ Ordered the attack that led to the death of Osama bin Laden

Ÿ Captured or killed the vast majority of al-Qaida leadership

Ÿ Assisted NATO in the liberation of Libya without a single death to a U.S. soldier

Ÿ Dealt with the renegade pirates off the coast of Africa that stopped their attacks

Ÿ Saved the automobile industry

Ÿ Developed a national health care plan that will rein in the runaway costs.

His biggest failure has been in relying on the Congress to do their job. Give the man credit for what he has accomplished and show some respect for the office of the president.
