Boeing has 700 commitments for 737-Max aircraft, Albaugh says
Boeing Co. has won 700 commitments so far for the commercial planemaker’s 737-Max aircraft, said Jim Albaugh, head of the company’s commercial-jet division, today.
Albaugh, speaking at a briefing in Dubai ahead of the start of an air show starting tomorrow, said Boeing has yet to work out pricing and performance guarantees before it can take firm contracts.
Boeing could be ready with an improved version of its 777 plane by 2020 if it feels a new variant is warranted, he said.
