On leaf burning, thanks but no thanks
I’d like to thank my neighbors in the Forrest Lake subdivision for another successful season of leaf burning. There are many days and evenings that I could have spent outside playing with my children, but thanks to my neighbors’ absolute disregard for smoke from their leaf burning blowing straight into my yard or lingering as a haze of smoke, we had to remain inside. I have also enjoyed the smell of smoke in my home. On the upside, my neighbors have saved the $5 it costs to buy lawn refuse bags.
