Naperville can join in NCC homecoming festivities
North Central College is inviting community members to join in the celebration of the college's sesquicentennial and 2011 homecoming festivities running through Sunday, Nov. 13.
Public events include performances by North Central's theater and musical groups, a reunion party with dancing and entertainment, parade and football game.
“Our homecoming is later this year than we typically celebrate so it coincides with the actual 150th anniversary of the first day of classes on Nov. 11, 1861,” said Rick Spencer, vice president for institutional advancement. “It's perfect that we celebrate 150 years on a homecoming weekend, and we welcome the community to come onto our campus and celebrate with us.”
