Elecronics Recycling Drop-off ends for winter in Hoffman

With winter coming soon, the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County’s large Electronics Recycling Drop-off Program will end for the season on Wednesday, Nov. 16. You still have a week to drop off old computers (PCs and laptops) and computer components (monitors, keyboards, mouse devices, drives, etc.), DVD players, fax machines, MP3 players, printers, scanners, TVs, VHS players, and video game consoles for free at the village hall, 1900 Hassell Road, on Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon, only.

Visit www.swancc.org for a full list of acceptable items.

After Nov. 16, larger electronics recycling will be available on Saturdays at the Glenview Transfer Station, 1151 N. River Road, between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Also, small electronics (cellphones, laptops, cameras,

etc.) can always be recycled in the village hall lobby through Recycling Avenue.
