Freshman volleyball coach was inspiration

My youngest daughter recently completed her freshman volleyball season at Buffalo Grove High School. The season was a resounding success due to the outstanding efforts of the coach, Jackie Gronski.

Jackie not only led the team to a perfect season (26-0) but more importantly dealt with the girls in a caring, concerned manner and was a positive role model throughout the season.

She dealt with any situations that arose in a swift, prompt manner and encouraged the team to support each other on and off the court.

In speaking with parents of some of the older girls in the program they all told me the same thing: that she was the best coach in the program. I can’t thank her enough for making my daughter’s entrance into high school sports such a great experience.

With Mrs. O’Shea leaving after this year, Buffalo Grove is fortunate to have such a tremendous young coach in their program and I (along with almost every parent I spoke with) are optimistic that she receives strong consideration for the varsity coaching job next season.
