Charity basketball game:

A charity basketball game between firefighters and police officers is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 17 to raise funds for the Northern IL Police K-9 Memorial. The game begins at 6 p.m. at Beach Park Middle School, 40667 North Green Bay Road, Beach Park. Tickets are $3 for children and students with ID, $5 for adults and there is no charge for children 3 and younger. Merchandise will be sold at the event and there will be a police K-9 demonstration at halftime of the game. For information, contact Northernilpolicek9memorial@yahoo.com.
