Planners discuss downtown plan, offer open mike program
LOMBARD, Illinois—Village President William Mueller hosts Community Development Director William Heniff and Senior Planner Jennifer Henaghan on the November edition of “Open Mike.”
The program highlights the recent award the Village of Lombard Planning Division received from the Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association. The award recognizes Lombard's downtown plan for its innovation, comprehensiveness, transferability, quality and implementation.
Both Heniff and Henaghan also shared information on the Planning Divisions update of the Village's Comprehensive Plan.
“Open Mike” may be seen on The Lombard Channel, Lombard's Government Access Station (channel 6 on Comcast and channel 99 on AT&T U-Verse) as well as streaming on demand on the Village website, www.villageoflombard.org.
The schedule is as follows: Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 p.m.; Mondays and Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.; and Fridays at 11:30 a.m.
“Open Mike” may also be viewed on the Village website (www.villageoflombard.org) on video on demand, located in the lower middle of the home page.
