Chiro One hosts 'Share the Abundance' food drive in November

Beginning Nov. 1, you can assist by donating items such as peanut butter, tuna and other nonperishable food items at a Chiro One near you.

“Last year, we collected over 20,000 pounds of food and this year we want to increase that number to 25,000 pounds,” said Cynthia Barron, director of community outreach, Chiro One Wellness Centers. “We are asking the public to help us help others by bringing in a nonperishable food item in November.”

Chiro One Wellness Centers' sixth annual “Share the Abundance” food drive will be Tuesday, Nov. 1, to Wednesday, Nov. 16, at all Chiro One Wellness Centers locations. For location information, visit www.ChiroOne.net/locations or call (877) 724-4761.

Suggested Items to contribute: canned chicken, tuna, canned fruit and vegetables, dried or canned beans, fruit juice, jelly, macaroni and cheese, pasta, peanut butter, rice and pasta, whole grain Cereal. No glass jars or bottles.

Your donations will make it possible for Feeding Illinois to provide food for thousands of hungry men, women and children this holiday season. For more information about Feeding Illinois, visit www.FeedingIllinois.org.
