Obama jobs bill is misdirected

It seems President Obama is looking to bypass Congress, which looks to wisely reject his latest jobs bill. Right now, as Obama said in an recent speech, Europe is on the brink of a financial collapse, and this time the effects will hit earlier than the 1925 German collapse, which hit us more than four years later in 1929. The reason for the delay was that the world was less interconnected. If Greece defaults it will trigger an economic downturn far worse than 2008’s. However Obama’s jobs bill would only make the problems worse.

First, it will continue the relentless assault on manufacturing. This was why we got hit with the 1925 depression that started in Europe. We need to be making stuff here. If Greece does default it will buy time, and that is what we will need. We should drill for our own oil and use all of our resources.

Second is for reporters start asking serious questions. You have become cheerleaders, not the holders of fire to the feet of people in office.

Obama’s definition of a millionaire is a person earning $105,000. What the tea party told Congress to do is what it should do. This looks like class warfare to me. Attacking the people who create jobs is biting the hand that feeds you.
