Mayor supports Huntley hospital

I take pride in being a resident of Huntley for 35 years, a father, grandfather and the Mayor of Huntley. As a resident, I have seen the growth of this community increase exponentially over the past 10 years, and with this expansion brings many hopes for Huntley’s future.

As a father and grandfather, my personal experiences have proved to me that emergencies will happen, no matter how hard you try to avoid them. I am constantly thinking about my family, kids and grandkids, and their safety is beyond important to me. Our community has a need for a hospital, which the state has identified, and Centegra Hospital-Huntley is the solution to that need.

As the mayor of Huntley, I am determined to make this community the best place to live, from families to senior citizens. We have outstanding recreation parks, a well-respected education system and so much more.

In order to continue making Huntley a destination residential area, I find one major gap presented. Anything that impacts our community, I take personally, and it is for this community’s best interest that quality health care is provided. It is bothersome that Huntley residents have to travel 20 minutes, without traffic, to the nearest hospital for medical care. Centegra Hospital-Huntley is an answer to the gap.

I have heard nothing but positive comments from Huntley residents about Centegra’s Health Campus, where both Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center-Huntley and Health Center are located. This campus is the perfect location for providing the latest technologies, caring medical staff and private patient rooms for our community. Please join me in supporting Centegra Hospital-Huntley.
