Aurora Library sponsors fundraising auction

The Aurora Public Library will sponsor a reception and auction at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at the Eola Road Branch Library, 555 S. Eola Road, to raise money for the children’s area of the new main library to be built at the corner of River and Benton streets downtown.

Sports memorabilia, a signed photo of Matt Damon, tickets to a taping of “Wheel of Fortune,” a signed script from the TV show “Castle,” a trip to Disney World and themed baskets will be available at the auction. Aurora Mayor Tom Weisner will be one of several guest auctioneers.
