Free “Miss Representation” screening

A free screening of “Miss Representation,” a film that explores how the media’s misrepresentation of women has led to the underrepresentation of women in positions of power and influence, will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Northern Illinois University auditorium, 5555 Trillium Blvd., Hoffman Estates. Parking is also free. Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion.
