Signup open for Rotary Santa Run

The fourth annual 5K Rotary Santa Run will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 3 in downtown Arlington Heights. Registration is open now, and the event usually fills up quickly. Runners get a five-piece Santa suit to wear in the 5K race.

New this year is the Reindeer Run for kids 10 and under, at 9:15 a.m., and a 1-mile walk for Santas who prefer to stroll. Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome; registration is $33 for those 13-older, and $23 for those 12- younger.

Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights' local community projects, as well as Rotary International's efforts to eradicate polio worldwide.
