'Muppets, Music & Magic: Jim Henson's Legacy' at A.H. library

The Muppets are coming to the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave. The library will have various programs Nov. 15 through Dec. 11.

Reminisce about your days growing up with Sesame Street and The Muppet Show and introduce your children to the magic of the Muppets through this series of movies and rare shorts from the Henson archives.

Special guests will introduce early live television appearances, unusual commercials, and some of the best moments from Sesame Street and other Muppets television. The time-honored film The Muppet Movie and cult-classic "The Dark Crystal" will also be shown.

This touring retrospective series, which has drawn rave reviews and played to sold-out audiences across the country, is produced by The Jim Henson Legacy and the Brooklyn Academy of Music, executive producer Irena Kovarova. All ages are welcome unless otherwise noted.
