Collect seeds for Make A Difference Day
Citizens for Conservation will be a site for Make A Difference Day activities in the Barrington area on Saturday, Oct. 22. Volunteers interested in being a part of this national day of service can meet at 9 a.m. at CFC headquarters, 459 West Highway 22, the white farmhouse with a silo across from Good Shepherd Hospital.
Make A Difference Day volunteers will help collect seed of native plants from 9-11:00 a.m. at local CFC preserves. The seed will be used in the restoration of vast acres of habitat in the Barrington area. Wear long pants, sturdy shoes, bring work gloves and dress for the weather.
