Electronics recycling in Barrington

The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County will hold an electronics recycling collection and a document destruction event, 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 22 in the North Commuter Parking Lot, Main and Wool streets, Barrington. The following will be accepted: Computers, both PCs and laptops; scanners; computer monitors; mobile phones; mice; keyboards; zip drives; MP3 players; TVs; PDAs; printers; VHS players; fax machines; DVD players; video game consoles; DVR/cable boxes. Electronics from businesses, institutions or schools will not be accepted.
