NORMAL — Police at Illinois State University in Normal are looking for the person who targeted at least two people with a BB gun from a dormitory window.

ISU Police Chief Aaron Woodruff told The (Bloomington) Pantagraph that two people reported being hit by pellets at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday near Atkin-Colby Hall. Neither was seriously injured.

Woodruff says police couldn’t tell exactly where the shots were fired from.

The chief says similar incidents have happened on campus in the past, but not recently.
