Great Lakes Halloween event:

The Great Lakes Naval Museum hosts its first “Great Lakes Naval Museum Haunted Halloween Celebration” on Friday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. The free event is open to the public. Children will have an opportunity to decorate their own sailor’s white hat, receive special Halloween treats and hear naval-themed ghost stories by museum volunteers. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costumes. The museum is at the Naval Station near the main gate. Admission and parking are free.
