GOP tax holiday is foolhardy

The latest idea by the GOP is to give multinational corporation a tax holiday so they can repatriate profits earned overseas like former President Bush got through Congress back in 2004. So, after blocking President Obama’s jobs proposal to put construction workers, teachers and firemen back to work, the Republicans want to give another tax break to corporations that continue to outsource jobs and are refusing to spend the $2 trillion they are sitting on in the U.S.

This is another example of the Republicans looking out for their rich corporate friends and lobbyists at the expense of the middle class. They stonewall any proposal to create jobs in favor of tax breaks for the Wall Street barons while they think of ways to cut Social Security and turn Medicare into a voucher system.
