Getting the interview trumped safe driving
For the past few months you paper has included articles about distracted driving and the potential problems it can cause. Is this just an act to sell newspapers, or do you really believe it?
In a recent edition there was an article about an L.A. actor from the Northwest suburbs. In the first paragraph the story describes how the person is driving down the highway in California talking to the reporter from the Daily Herald. As a responsible newspaper that believes in what you print, why not tell the person this is not the best time to talk, and let’s do it when you are not driving? Did the need for the interview outweigh the belief that distracted driving can be harmful to the driver and others around him?
Please practice what you preach. Have a safe day.
