Corporations don’t want you to think
It’s interesting to me that after watching live webcams of thousands protesting against Wall Street in the wee hours of Sept. 6 (and witnessing police brutality of unarmed Americans), hardly a peep of it was on any of the network news stations. Just more about the Michael Jackson trial.
Our media is that of Communist Russia of the 1980s. “Private” corporations that buy controlling interest in national networks control the messages to sway our thinking and vote for the interests of the corporations, can hardly be called “private.”
Words are a powerful weapon being used against those who don’t read books. If one doesn’t know how to use a gun, it doesn’t make sense to try to use it to defend oneself. It might backfire and hurt the holder. If school doesn’t teach you how to use words to defend yourself, go to the library and seek how to use the weapon yourself. You’ll become a “word-slinger” and will be less likely to believe those who are using words to destroy your lives.
Hitler once said, “How fortunate for leaders that men do not think.” Republican-donating corporations don’t want you to think; they want you to follow.
