Dining events: Helping breast cancer awareness

Sweet treat pizza

Tuscany supports breast cancer awareness month with the calzone di nutella, a dessert with dark chocolate and hazelnuts folded in the middle of a homemade pizza dough. The calzones are $8. A dollar of each one sold goes to the Lynn Sage Foundation.

Courtright’s & Caymus

Chuck Wagner introduces Caymus Vineyards to Courtright’s Restaurant at a four-course wine dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18. Owner of Caymus Vineyards, Wagner will speak about his selection, which includes Conundrum, Mer Soleil Chardonnay, Belle Glos Pinot Noir and Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon and Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon. Dinners are $125 per person.

Marinara Mondays

It’s free pasta on Mondays through out October at Buca di Beppo. Purchase any large pasta, baked pasta or entree and receive a free small spaghetti marinara. Eat it there or doggy bag it for tomorrow’s lunch.
