Oct. 13 (Bloomberg) -- France’s CFDT labor union called on employees of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise to strike tomorrow at four plants in protest over the break-up of the unit.
“The Genesys business is the only one that investment funds are interested in at the moment and its sale is being finalized,” the union said in an e-mailed statement today. “Management hasn’t to date announced any plan for the rest of the group’s business.”
